Porky White's (Surrey) - Roasted Cumin & Garlic

Having seen reference to these particular Porky Whites from an appreciation society Facebook page, I thought we would give these a go too...

As soon as I broke open the package I thought hello, these smell good. The cumin and garlic aroma though when the sausages were at last in the pan, was something else, believe me!

A well made sausage as you would expect from Porky Whites. Good skins, and a medium texture with an abundance of flavour from the cumin and garlic. Very much a "curry flavoured" sausage if you like, but needless to say a quality sausage with 84% pork shoulder and belly in natural casings with some garam masala, and cayenne in with the cumin and garlic we note.

Certainly a distinctive flavoured sausage that I'm sure will have many fans. I liked them a lot, but after two in a sandwich for lunch, I was needing a cuppa.
